Walgreens Photo Center stores your credit card info
To avoid asking you for a form of payment each time you place an order, we keep your credit card number on file with your Walgreens Photo Center account. Each time you place an order, we simply charge the card you have on file. You'll always be notified via email when a charge occurs.

Your credit card info is safe with Walgreens Photo Center
We understand that some people are concerned about sharing their credit card information with an online service. To make sure that the Walgreens Photo Center web site meets the standards required to conduct secure, online transactions, we take the following precautions:

  • Encryption of your credit card number
We use sophisticated technology to make sure no one can see your credit card number. All sensitive information (including credit card information and your password) is transmitted using SSL, an advanced encryption technology that is the recognized industry standard for secure transactions. Your credit card is encrypted for storage and will not be displayed to anyone. In fact, log in even you won't be able to see the whole credit card number --just a portion of it. For example: XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-5678.
  • Password Protection
Your account is password-protected so that only you can make changes to your photos or your account information. You create your password when you sign up. If you forget your password, Walgreens Photo Center will send you a new password by email. Please note: The email containing your password can only be sent to the email address you entered when you registered with Walgreens. This is another way in which we protect your privacy with Walgreens Photo Center.
  • Secure Transactions
At the time of payment, our system automatically transfers you to a secure portion of the Walgreens Photo Center web site. At the bottom of your browser window, you'll see a lock symbol (if your browser is Internet Explorer) or a key symbol (if your browser is Netscape). You'll also see that the url in your browser's address window begins with https:// rather than the normal http://. The extra s stands for secure. All of these indicators show that the page(s) you are on are secure for transactions.

Updating or changing your credit card information
To change your billing or credit card information, including an expired credit card, first log in to your account and hover over your name and click Payment Information near the top of the page. On the Payment Information tab, click Edit. Once you click that you will be taken to Walgreens.com. From there, you can change any of the credit card information, including the name on the card, the billing ZIP code, and the credit card number or expiration date. After updating your info, be sure to click the Save Changes button.
NOTE: You are not able to leave these fields blank in your account settings. To remove your credit card info, click the link that says "Delete Payment Information".
