What is PictureMover?

PictureMover is software you install on your computer. It helps you get your photos off of your camera and other media devices, like memory cards, and onto your computer and your Walgreens account.

You choose how you would like to use PictureMover. If you'd like, it can send all photos that are on your camera or memory card each time you attach one of them. Or, you can choose which photos to move each time you connect your camera or insert a memory card. It also allows you to automatically delete photos from your camera once they're transferred and create photo screensavers and wallpapers. The choice is up to you!

And remember, every photo moved to Walgreens is also automatically saved in your My Pictures folder on your computer.

Can PictureMover upload move higher resolution images?

Walgreens PictureMover offers two types of upload on the site - Fast Upload for prints and gifts, and Large Print Upload for posters and large photo gifts. You can switch this to the Large Print Upload by clicking -Options.- Then click -Advanced-, then click the box next to -Always use large print upload.- Click -OK.-

NOTE: Using Large Print Upload will dramatically increase the time it takes to move your photos. No matter which upload mode you choose, the photo you upload will be a compressed copy of the original photo, NOT the original version itself. The original photo will not be compressed.
